HOW YOUR STRESS MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME WORKS

By following a programme tailored to the individual there will be many positive options to choose from.

The programme is based on a Stress Management Techniques chart, which consists of:


Relaxation Techniques

For example - breathing exercises, meditation, and progressive muscle relaxation


Positive Thinking

Including creative thinking around issues, affirmations, and boosting self esteem


Health

Such as following a healthy diet, getting exercise and sleep


Positive Self Changes

What would this mean for you - New clothes? New hairstyle? Giving up smoking?


Time Management and Goal Setting

Ability to delegate, plan ahead, prioritise and set goals.


Support and Help from Others

For example - work colleagues, family, friends, and community


Developing Skills

Your competence skills, leadership skills, a new hobby


With a series of individual sessions consisting of coaching and stress solutions, or a workshop plus individual sessions, the individual is encouraged to note what currently stresses them and how they cope.

With this information, the stress management techniques programme is built. The individual will adopt new patterns of coping based on what really motivates them, and will have a greater understanding of how stress affects the body.

Having a more balanced lifestyle will mean that they are able to react more positively to the many challenges in and out of the workplace.
